We want things. We really do.
The science is simple.
Get what you want and you will be happy.
And happy is good. Really good.

But to be happy we need the world to look a certain way.
Feel a certain way.
We expect it.
In fact we demand it.
How else will we be happy?

So ironically we are seldom happy.
Even worse. We are disappointed. Even resentful.

So what if we have got this wrong?
What if the entire reason for our existence is to be the solution?
That our single responsibility is to create the very thing we are looking for and to bring into the world the very thing we need.

We might just find others will appreciate what we have created.

We might even discover an even better feeling than happiness…
